New Home
We are officially moved into Bear Canyon Apartments. We moved in on May 15 2009. It sure has been a time putting this little place together. But our home has gone from looking like a luxury storage unit to actually looking like a home. The first few days we were here I was sick - I could hardly move - and running a fever. The fever made the boxes look bigger, taller and heavier than they really were. But the sickness subsided with the aid of ibuprofen, a Priesthood blessing and lots of sleep. All of last week and the beginning of this week were dedicated to turning this place into something livable. My parents were able to come down on Memorial Day weekend and help bring the furniture we're borrowing from my aunt. Boy was it was an adventure putting the couches in the door. There were too many ominous cracks and creaks coming from our three-seater for my liking but they finally made it in! The rest was easy. I'll be making a silent film of our apartment and will post it tomorrow. It should be fun :)
James is enjoying his work. He's learning a lot of the tricks to the trade and it's coming along well he says. He's just glad that he has a job :) Now that I've run out of things to hang on walls or put into drawers and shelves, I've resorted to getting to know autotrader.com and insurance companies. I'll also be getting to know Microsoft Excel real well as we'll be paying our first bills tomorrow :) Oh joy!!
Much love to you all :)

Honeymoon sneak peek!
Here's a few pics we wanted to share from the honeymoon :)
Here's the San Diego Temple - it's absolutely gorgeous!! and it was like we got the whole temple to ourselves. Such a wonderful experience.
Cabrillo National Monument - that's the Pacific Ocean! That's the first time I saw it
Coronado Beach - the sand literally looked like Heavenly Father had a mishap with a bottle of gold art glitter. It was such sparkley sand! :)
Coronado Bridge - very tall and very long
Balboa Park had a lot of interesting museums. One was the Botanical Gardens - I had fun with the macro option on my camera and took lots of closeups of the flowers. They were just so pretty - I didn't get too close to the venus fly traps though. James has already lost a pinky and I didn't want to match :)
